NewsSea Run Holdings, Inc. is Awarded a $72,000 QTDP GrantSea Run Holdings, Inc. of Freeport, Maine has received a $72,000 grant as part of the Qualifying Therapeutic Discovery Program. The grant was awarded by the National Institutes of Health and the IRS to advance the development of Sea Run's novel technology for pain mitigation. These competitive QTDP grants were created to support innovative therapeutic projects that result in new therapies, and address unmet medical needs. The grant will allow Sea Run to conduct further pre-clinical testing on the safety and efficacy of its salmon-derived plasma proteins for controlling post-surgical pain and inflammation. Sea Run was one of only two Maine companies to receive a QTDP grant. |
