Sea-Grow™ is a salmon plasma product that has demonstrated excellent performance in enhancing growth in a number of cell lines, and growth and protein production in hybridomas. Its performance with hybridomas is especially significant due to the role of these cells in the expanding production of recombinant proteins. In preliminary tests, Sea-Grow™ has out-performed the major competitor, a bovine-derived lipid supplement. Sea-Grow™ is being evaluated for additional cell lines.
